Cambridge University Libraries 

 

Studying at Cambridge gives access to one of the world’s largest university collections, dispersed across a range of libraries. 

This includes your College library and the subject-specific holdings for HSPS in the relocated Seeley Library and the Haddon Library, as well as at the main University Library (UL). You can work at and borrow from most Department and Faculty libraries and the UL, but check first. College libraries tend to be open to College members only.  

The Library Essentials Guide covers everything you need to know about the Cambridge University Libraries including the different types on offer, iDiscover (the online search tool for library resources), and how to borrow books.  
  
The LibGuides provide an overview of the many specialist and print resources for all HSPS subjects.

You can use Spacefinder to search for a place to study across the hundreds of libraries, cafes and classrooms in Cambridge, filtering by facilities, noise level and atmosphere.

Cambridge Undergraduate Quantitative Methods (CUQM) 

 

CUQM is dedicated to improving the provision of quantitative methods training to social science and humanities undergraduates at Cambridge. HSPS undergraduates are welcome to participate in CUQM activities.
